Who are subscribers

    I’m concerned that since I put a subscribe option button on my site I have gotten a huge amount of names that are listed on my admin page as “team”. I’m concerned for two reasons: the domains are suspect (I honestly don’t think Russians/gun shop owners/etc are suddenly interested in cooking/lifestyle/art); (are these people considered legit in counting my blog’s followers? yes I’m thrilled that in 2 months I’ve garnered 400 subscribers but when I look at my stats and see readers listed in China and Russia, I’m a bit dubious, especially in this election season. I asked this questions and didn’t get a response–I also see other people have asked the same question about followers before with no response. Does anyone know what is going on??
