Who Broke The Forum?

We all did and other things besides. We are still getting the blank page after clicking “edit”.

I am working on fixing the Bad Request errors. The blank pages — are those only happening on the forums or on blogs also?

For me they are only happening on the forum. I edit to add more information and links to a fourm post and when I click “edit” and that is when I get a blank page.

I agree with Timethief.

Kimiko (sp?) told me there was a javascript loading problem on my blog several days ago, but I’ve had no reports of weirdness since. No problem loading blogs. I get the White Page error every time I try to go to Off Topic. When I refresh, it vanishes.

The blank pages are happening to me everywhere.. the forum, blog administration, and all WordPress blogs. It’s almost guaranteed if I click the back button. For instance, I went to Icanhascheezburger earlier. When I clicked Back, the address still showed ICHC, but the page was blank. I’ve had it happen on many of them.

I see the blank pages barry mostly in the forums, but have seen it on a couple of blogs when trying to post. Maybe a php issue with requests?

I came back to say that the blank pages are also happening on my blog, as well as, on the support forums. And like raincoaster says every time I post in the Off-Topic forum I get them too.

I’m back again for two reasons.
(1) I’m still getting blank pages as I previously described.
(2) The tags on the forum page have floated to the left and are covering the text next to them.

Not getting the float problem here. But, I did pay attention more and I get it in the forums at random times when I try to edit an entry or click on a thread link on the main list. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it does happen multiple times in a day.

Yeah. The blank page problem seems to be happening quite frequently in the past couple of hours when I click on forum links.

That’s for bring up the floating tags TT.

I thought I was going slightly nuts looking at it. I was trying to remember if it was always that way or if I was losing my marbles from constantly switching back and forth between Ubuntu and Vista (Ubuntu doesn’t support the monitor’s native resolution so things sometimes look funny).

I’ve been getting the blank page off and on.

And I got the bad request once right after Barry posted the sticky. Haven’t been able to get the error again. Strange thing it happened shortly after reading the sticky but it had never happened before that.

it seems to be on the upswing for me, too, this evening (no noticeable pattern to it, though). FF 2.0.0.6 on Mac OS X 10.4.10

Edit: sorry. By “it” i mean the blank page. No issue with floating stuff.

Not to my eye. It just started doing the tags over the text for me, and I’m on FF.

I haven’t been able to replicate that bug. Does a force reload help?
