Who can see my info?

    I’m considering upgrading to private plan but am asked to provide my name and phone number. My blog is anonymous and I want to keep it that way. Are any readers able to see that info? Can anyone except the wordpress people track my identity via this?

    Hi misspiony,

    I’m considering upgrading to private plan but am asked to provide my name and phone number.

    Personal information such as your full name and details entered at the checkout won’t be visible to anyone visiting your site (unless you manually added them somewhere).

    The email address on your Account Settings page is visible to owners of the sites you comment on but it won’t be included in the comment itself (and is therefore not public) — that’s just something to bear in mind if you decide to use an email address based on your name.

    We don’t offer any private plans. I’m not sure whether that was a typo or whether you mean’t something else like marking the site private. Just let me know if you have any questions about that :)
