Who is automatic inc and why has it changed my posting page?

    Logging on to my site as of an hour ago, when I select “create new post” I get directed to “Automattic Inc.com Wordpess”, and have a new posting format that takes forever to load (with an annoying circle loop of “beep beep bong”, no save button etc. What happened, how do I return to my original posting format?

    Hi Chris,

    Automattic is the parent company of WordPress.com. The new editor which you have been directed to is one which we have been slowly rolling out for some time. You can still get to the original editor by logging in to your Dashboard and then going to Posts >> Add new. The loading page shouldn’t take nearly as long to load in the future, it just needed to load up some of the files which are necessary in order to make the page work!
