Who is trying to follow me?

  I get an e-mail stating that someone called TLW17 is now following me. I click on the email and all I get is a link to their profile. Click on that and there is an empty profile and no websites or blogs listed.What is it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. I’m afraid there’s no way to find out who a follower is, unless they choose to make that information available in their profile or a linked blog.

  Anyone on the internet can follow your blog if it’s set as public. They don’t even have to be registered on WordPress.com, but can follow your blog via RSS feed readers. In that case you won’t even get a notification that someone is following your blog, as notifications are only created for people that follow you via the WordPress.com interface.

  You also can’t remove or block any follower on a public blog.
