Who is who?
-
I have a private blog. I invited my viewers by email, but can only see usernames once they’ve accepted. Is there any way to verify who is who or at least see which emails accepted my invite? (I know I can see the ones that are still pending.)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
On a privat site, at My Site > People, you should see a menu at the top of the page with the following items: Team, Followers, Email Followers, Viewers, Invites.
The Invites page should display those you’ve invited. The Viewers page displays those that have accepted the invitation as a viewer. See the Viewing and Removing Viewers from a Private Blog section of the Inviting Contributors, Followers, and Viewers support page.
Is there any way to verify who is who or at least see which emails accepted my invite?
Does the Viewers page not display the email address of the viewer? I haven’t yet tested this by adding a viewer to one of my private test sites.

The invite list shows user names instead of emails for people who already have a WordPress account. When someone accepts an invite they have to create a WordPress account. That means the email on the invite disappears and the new username on the viewers list shows up. If I’d realized this I would have kept an outside list of invited emails and corresponding usernames as people accepted the invites.

Understood. I don’t know if there is any way of viewing or retrieving a list of the email invitations. You may call for staff attention to the topic by adding a “modlook” tag to the sidebar at right (in this topic). If you do so, then staff will respond here.
