What the heck is going on. This is the most insane change. Where are my uploaded pictures? Why can’t I link any more?

If you try to link, and the window that comes up is blank, right click on the blank window and select refresh, reload, or reload frame (depending on what your browser calls it and the window will then show. This is the same with any window or page that would happen to come up blank.

I only had to do a refresh ONCE and subsequent windows show automatically. As to who made this change? I think it’s SOCIETY.

Actually, Happy Cog (http://happycog.com/) worked on the interface changes, but Automattic (http://automattic.com/) implemented the change.

WordPress.com should give 2 option:
– classic/old design
– new design

just as Yahoo! Mail do

You always have the option of downloading an old version of WordPress software and running that on an independent server, so that option is still available to you. I do not expect that WordPress.com is going to rethink this decision.

i agree with beritaheboh. why doesn’t wordpress give 2 options:
* old.
* new.

so simple,yet it somehow failed to get in front of Automattic.
