Who shared my post on Facebook?

    The social sharing buttons at the bottom of my blog posts (email, Twitter, Facebook etc.) have little numbers inside showing, I presume, how many times the post has been shared on that medium.

    With Facebook, is there any way of finding out who or where the link was shared?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    No there isn’t. The only data wordpress.com has refers to those who clicked and shared the post here not on Facebook.

    Hi there,

    In addition to what @timethief said, the sharing number that displays there is provided to us by Facebook. That is the only data they provide us. They don’t tell us who shared the posts.

    We track how many times posts are shared using the buttons, and that number is shown in your stats, but we also have no way of tracking who used the buttons as people don’t need to be logged in to use the sharing buttons on your posts.
