  Need to make an angular application that connects to any MySQL database that writes and reads. It also needs to be CRUD, all on the cloud. I don’t understand any of this. What, where, and how do I need to do?

  There are two options you can choose if you are looking at wordpress.
  WordPress is a publishing platform that makes it easy for anyone to publish online

  https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  1. WordPress.com(Managed hosting) – This comes with manage domain hosting(place where everything resides).
  2. WordPress.org(self hosting ) – You have to purchase hosting from some hosting provider. and then put in your code.

  From what you describe, it looks like you have to head over https://wordpress.org/ website and forums https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.

  You can also check documentation at https://wordpress.org/support/.
