WHOA…. The Global WP Bar on Top???
-
I swear I just saw it get bigger, and more simplified! I saw it while in the middle of messing with Custom Menus…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
If you are referring to an image becoming larger please see the stocky post at the head of these support forums > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/images-resizing?replies=1
-
If that’s not what you are referring to please post screenshot, upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it. Then type modlook into the tags in the sidebar of this thread to get in the queue for their attention.

No, no no no, I mean the black bar that appears when you’re logged in and view a WP site… You guys must be updating, SWEET! But now my BLOG ADMIN doesn’t work.
-
-
………………………
I’m not stupid. I’ve been a loyal user for years now. Just had different accounts.
I’m saying it doesn’t work now because it forwards to that silly en.wordpress.com/my-blogs/*some numbers*/posts – BUT DOESN’T SHOW ANYTHING
WP must be updating and you don’t even know about it yet?
I cannot access my blog admin. Please don’t assume I don’t know where it is, I’m definitely not new here.
-
By the way, when it forwards, it forwards YET AGAIN to just en.wordpress.com/my-blogs/
Then choose to REFRESH the page over and over and over and over. Keeps flipping back and forth between the two non-existent pages.

Hi again,
WordPress.com is on continuous roll-out and as many as two dozen code changes are made on any given day.I’ll tag this thread for a Staff response. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.
P.S. I did not intend to insult you and thought the :) made that clear. if I did intend to insult there would be no mistaking it.

It’s fine, you didn’t know lol =P
Besides, this is my very first time in the forums section though. Weird. Don’t know why I don’t use these.
-
Welcome to the WordPress.com support forums where I have been answering questions for over 7 years now.
LOL :D is in my repertoire (somewhere) but hey it’s another manic Monday so all I could manage was a :)
So if I suggest you could browser related issue would you become apoplectic? ;)
-
-
LOL I have Google Chrome. But yes I’ve checked with FireFox and IE and it still won’t let me access the wp-admin
In my mind, this happened: WP decided to replace the original wp-admin with a new one (right after changing the global WP logged in bar), but the new one isn’t up yet (which would explain why it’s flipping vigourously through both en.wordpress.com/my-blogs/*some numbers*/posts and en.wordpress.com/my-blogs/
If it doesn’t flip, it stays on the my-blogs page and doesn’t load a single thing. Just keeps circling that “buffering” circle.
-
Hey, I get that WordPress must be moving everyone to a new style dashboard, as I have been trying to login to mine for an hour and I’m just going round in circles here, but can anyone tell me if we will 1) still have access to our drafts 2) will Zemanta still be accessible, 3) what happens to the categories selection? 4) and can I still gain access to my WordAds admin?
The reason I ask is the few times the ‘new’ admin section has appeared, none of these option are readily available.

I’ll post the whole nine yards for troubleshooting browsers issues and connectivity issues below (she said, while securing her mask on her full coverage helmet, lest rotten tomatoes start flying) ;)
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/safari-ipad-clear-cache.htm
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/How-To-Clear-Browsing-Data-In-Chrome-For-Ipad_6.htm(b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled
http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. Try using another browser.
5. If you are not successful let us know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
(c) And what any error reports you receive state.=)

I still think this is a global update and we just have to wait for it to finish up. I have current versions of pretty much everything *I’m a nerd* and I don’t use extensions/toolbars, and cache isn’t kept at all.
I’m the model WP user =P

I think it’s global issue to now that this thread which I already tagged for Staff has been posted here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/my-blogsmanage-my-blogs-empty?replies=7#post-1451476

Same here, with regards to the browser, so yeah, it’s a new global update, though I’m not certain from what I have seen that it will work very well with my current work flow…
I’ll just have to wait and see. Though I wished WordPress had notified us that this was happening, or maybe I didn’t read that email…..
