Whole website disappeared
-
My whole website disappeared, although it still can be found through web browsers such as Google.
When trying to access it with Google Chrome the following error message is displayed: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
With some mobile navigators it displays the error 403.WP.com: Unknown
Jetpack: Unknown
Correct account: Unknown -
Just found out that this happened because the hosting expired.
Any way I can recover it? Or the website files?

Apparently the hosting was on Hostinger.
Do I need to go to the wordpress.org (instead of .com) forums in this case?(Sorry for the mess, but this account changes owner every year and I’m finding this out on the way)

Hi there,
If you’re hosted at Hostinger, then you’re using the open source version of WordPress made over on WordPress.org. So for help with that software, asking in the WordPress.org community forums would be best, yes.
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
However, for hosting-related issues, always contact your hosting provider directly instead. The WordPress.org community will only be able to help with issues related to the WordPress software itself :)
So in this case you’ll need to contact support at Hostinger to get your hosting account reactivated. Hopefully they still have a backup of your site’s data on their servers that they can restore as well.
