Whoops! Something has gone wrong with our servers….

    Hi,

    For the past three hours I’ve been trying to purchase a premium themes. Every time I click on the paypal purchase button, I am directed to this message:

    Whoops!
    Something has gone wrong with our servers, and we’ve just been notified of the problem.
    This will be fixed as soon as possible, so kindly reload in a minute and things should be back to normal.

    I’ve tried it on Chrome, Firefox and Edge. I’ve also logged out and in again. No luck.

    I’ve made purchase through the store on this computer in the recent past. Is this purely a WordPress problem that I’ll just need to wait out?

    That’s about 12 hours of this problem. I’d really like to purchase a premium theme and get on with stuff.

    Anyone any ideas? I tried it on my smartphone as well as incognito via Chrome. No luck.

  • Hi Tom, hmm. Not sure what’s causing this, though it seems to be tied to your account. I’ll contact you via ticket to see if we can work this out.

    Any news on this? I’m having the same problem and error message. Been trying to buy a site 301 redirection for several hours via paypal. Thanks!

    You’re both paying via Paypal though, correct? Are either or both of you also changing the currency as you pay?

    Didn’t even get to the Paypal page, but I pay in Euros and the price was in Euros.

    Soon as I click the Paypal tab on the WordPress page. The tab next to the credit card tab that is the default tab on the page.

    I hope you get the problem resolved, but I don’t need the premium theme now.

    @fenziecrochet can you confirm you’re also trying to pay with PayPal? Any further details you can send would be great.

  • So, we do know it was an issue in your carts. We’ve fixed it for both of you. We are not sure of the cause just yet, but you can check out now.

    If other users see this thread: please open a new thread with 503 Error in the subject and “modlook” in the tag, and we’ll help you out.

    Hi! Thank you so much for your help. Yesterday night at about 10pm it worked suddenly and I could succesfully check out via Paypal. Again, thank you for your prompt help and response! I hoped it worked out for tomkayeu as well!
