Whu doesn’t Cailis or Cialis work in COMMENT blacklist
-
I keep getting these Cailis crappy comments.
I have added cailis and viagra to my list, but the comments keep coming.
I am sure that these are helpful drugs, but they have nothing to do with my site.

Are you sure they’re not using typos for those names? They’re being caught on my blogs, even most of the typos.
-
the blacklist seems to be overridden by akismet. you can try adding them to the box above it (moderation list).
-
What’s the point of adding them to the moderation list? All of mine already caught by akismet. I just want not to even bother looking at them based on the keywords.
-
well, i’ve lobbied for that before. it didn’t get me very far. it seems that the concept of a blacklist that actually blocks comments, just doesn’t add up for some people.
-
Also, I have been getting some spam about car insurance.
I have add “car insurance” to my blacklist, but it didn’t help.
Any ideas?

I guess it depends on what you mean by didn’t help. The messaging suggesting they will be deleted is incorrect, it should say they are marked as spam. Are they not moved to Akismet Spam?

the suggestion that blacklisted comments shouldn’t be spam or ham, they should be blacklisted.
this would mean less spam to sort through, when looking for ham.
