why a theme is applied to my website on wordpress.com automatically? how can I remove this theme? and restore our website original style?

Hi there,
There is no “original style” on WordPress.com. The moment a WordPress.com site is created, a theme is activated. If you didn’t select a theme during site creation, a default theme will be used. It’s not possible to have a WordPress.com without a theme.
You can change the theme on your site at any time via My Site ->Themes.

Thank you for your help! Our theme was replaced with another theme on our website on wordpress.com automatically recently, not sure why this happened, and not sure who did this, I forgot the theme which I used before, how can I change the theme back?

Thanks for clarifying.
I had a look at your site’s logs, and the theme you had before has been retired, and it looks like the change on your site happened around the same time.
As far as I know you should still be able to keep on using a theme if you already have it active at the moment it’s retired, but it might work differently with Premium Themes like that one. I’ve asked our Themes team about this, but I might not get an answer before Monday.

Hi there,
We had another look, and you had that theme activated as part of a Business Plan owned by the user dpetrariu. That Business Plan expired in July and that also deactivated the theme.
As the theme is now retired, it’s not possible to reactivate it on the site, even if you buy a new Business Plan for the site.

Any WordPress.com theme can be retired. And as you had only been using the theme as part of the Business Plan and didn’t buy the actual theme, it’s not possible to reactivate it on your site.

OK?I don’t understand what you are asking. You can purchase any available theme at that link, or you can activate one if you buy the Business Plan again for the site. But it’s not possible to use the retired theme any more.

Which one is better really depends on whether you need only the theme, or the other features Business provides.
If you buy a Premium Theme, it’s a once-off purchase, and you can use the theme for as long as you have the site.
The Business Plan gives you access to all Premium Themes, but you can only use the theme for as long as you keep renewing the plan. If the plan expires, the theme is also automatically switched back to a free theme.
