Why after adding the new look and address to the site isn't there more traffic?

there is no traffic after I added the new look to the sight actually the look may have driven more people away from the sight. I was doing better with the free sight. Can you help me to figure out why there is less traffic now? I did add the new site address to search engines, but what else can I do, and I also advertise on Facebook. I write a lot and can’t write or spend any more many than I am and have on WordPress or time on this sight. Feeling defeated.

First, I think your site and your new layout look great. I think you did a terrific job with the MH Magazine theme. Second, high traffic levels can take some time to attain. For one, it takes a few weeks for Google and other search engines to properly index your site. So, it may take some time before your posts are popping up in Google searches.
Right now, it looks like you’re doing a great job at generating discussion via comments on posts, which can go a long way in creating a community of visitors. Your subscriber list is also growing. All of these things point to you doing quite a bit right!
