Why, after Font/CSS upgrade, is my blog buggy?
-
I just upgraded to enable CSS and fonts customization. After deciding which fonts I wanted and tweaking a few aspects of my site in the CSS form, I was satisfied with the appearance of my blog. However, after a few hours, the fonts suddenly appeared italicized through the site. It stayed like that for a few more hours, then returned to normal, again without prompt. Since then, the fonts have jumped back and forth between italics and normal, and the changes I made with CSS have flipped on and off as well, without any changes from me. I’ve also had trouble with the ratings advanced settings. When I change aspects and “Save” the change, it doesn’t stick; although the notice at the top of the page assures me the settings have been updated, the choice I just made has returned to its previous state in the form. I’ve received notices that I’m not using the latest version of Internet Explorer, but I very definitely am. I also tried using Chrome and Firefox, but had the same results with each. I’m a little upset that I just paid $30 for an upgrade to have more control over the appearance of my blog, but I actually have less control now than I did before. The italics looks blurry and confusing and make my content harder to read. If there is something I can do to fix this problem, I would love to. Please help! -Christina Grey

I’m not seeing any issue myself.
Would you please try clearing your browser’s cookies and cache?

Thanks for the suggestion. I did that, but I’m still having the issue I was having last night – Parts of the blog are inexplicably italicized.

Thanks for helping… I had to add more code, but I got it back to the way it looked the other night. I’m still concerned it’s going to flip flop again though. Is there anything I can do to make sure it “sticks”? Also, do you think the ratings issues and browser notices were caused by cookies/cache as well?

It looks like the problem is http://imakenonsense.wordpress.com/2011/08/05/hi-id-like-to-introduce-myselves/
You entered an em tag to start the italicized text, but never closed it, resulting in the rest of the blog being italicized. It’s all fixed up now.
