Why am I being able to see no notifications at all?
-
Hi,
Very longtime blogger, my site is: http://anansisweb.wordpress.com/
Basically, a few weeks ago (give or take) I found wordpress totally inaccessible but then realised that for some reason my local ISP was somehow preventing ANY wordpress site (.com or .org) and a few others from loading. But that’s another matter.
I managed to get around that by moving to torbrowser because nothing else worked.
Now I’m able to log in and post and everything – BUT, when I got some notifications yesterday and that little icon on the top right lit up, I clicked and it opened the drop-down but got stuck at loading. I tried it repeatedly, reloaded, both in my dashboard and in the main wordpress page – nothing. I left it for a bit, opened notifications in a new tab/window and still nothing.
So basically I can’t load or see my notifications at all – why is this happening and how can I get past it?
Please help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. This happens to me as well from time to time and is usually due to a browser or connection issue.
Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and make sure you have third-party cookies enabled. You can also check whether you have the same problem on a different browser and make sure your flash player is updated.

TOR and flash do not get along. I believe the Notifications box is flash-based. You might have better luck checking your notifications from the WordPress app on your phone.
