Why am I being asked to log in when I'm already logged in?
-
i regularly comment on a friend’s blog, but on her last post there was a red message saying I have to log in. Even though I already am logged in. I tried to “re-log” into the box that appeared ( Twice – when logged in and also after logging out and both times it said my password was wrong – i’m 100% sure it was ok) It’s possible I have an old dormant second WP account from over four years ago, but I don’t know why this would affect me commenting with my current WP identity. I still seem to be able to access other blogs I’m following so maybe the problem is at her end? My URL is http://mskathyfreeman.wordpress.com and my friend’s URL is http://icantexplainmyfeet.com
Thanks!

http://icantexplainmyfeet.com/ is not a WordPress.COM hosted blog. It’s a WordPress.ORG and install. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features and run different versions of some themes with the same names http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
