Why am I being asked to renew my wordpress domain by an outside company?

  I am being asked to renew my domain by an outside company other than WordPress
  http://www.dora.com I am set to auto renew on July 15 of this year I regestered the address with you WordPress.com so why is a 3rd party company requesting my renewal.

  Please advise

  Hi there,

  I’m not sure what this 3rd company is, but please note that any domains purchased through us can only be renewed on your Store > My Upgrades page.

  As long as it is renewed there you have nothing to worry about :)

  If the email came from: (email visible only to moderators and staff) please note that is legitimate – we’re working on fixing the email to look like what our users expect from us. Sorry for the confusion.

  However, if it’s mail coming from another company please disregard it and know that all domains can only be renewed through your WordPress.com account.
