Why am i being charged?

Would like a refund for an unused service. Did not know your were charging me. I signed up for the FREE account, but you all snuck a $96 charge in.

Hi there,
On 29 January 2019 you bought a WordPress.com Premium Plan for your site, http://pollysfavoritethingsblog.wordpress.com/. That’s the only way we can charge you – if you provided us with your credit card details in the process of purchasing an upgrade.
Yesterday’s charge is the second annual renewal of that upgrade. You can see the receipts for the original purchase and the December 2019 renewal payments in your account’s billing history at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing
We’ve emailed you receipts for each of those payments, and we also sent multiple reminder emails before each of the two renewals – the first reminder email for yesterday’s renewal was sent on 30 November.
We offer a full refund on all upgrades and renewals if you contact us within 30 days, but in this case it appears that you also disputed the charge with your bank. When you dispute a charge you are essentially accusing us of fraud, and the payment is frozen pending an investigation. Additionally, your site is locked pending payment of a chargeback fee. If you are willing to cancel the dispute with your bank we might still be able to refund you ourselves. Otherwise you will need to wait for our payment processor to complete their investigation, which could take eight to twelve weeks.
