Why am I being notified of my own comments?

The orange balloon lights up now every time I leave a comment (this is on my private blog) and there’s a comment / sign in form with my info below the posts.

Yeah, didn’t work. I still see notifications and a strange form that’s pre-filled in but doesn’t seem to think I’m the blog author.

This seems to be part of the same issue I raised about 45 minutes ago — with my comment replies heading into my spam queue. I also was getting a filled in form below the comment box.

Note that your autofilled login information is visible to you when you are logged in and have not cleared your browser cache and cookies. No one else can see it.
When someone makes a comment on your blog, unless they have cleared their cookies, WordPress.com will recognize them and complete the details for them. No one else will be able to view those details in comment boxes or in contact forms. The next person who comments will see blank fields. Commenters will not see each others details.

I’ll try clearing that stuff out, but if WP staff could please take notice, it’s a real pain losing not just the login info on WordPress but all other blogs and sites I visit. WP is the only site that goes glitch if I don’t clear stuff out.

I don’t comprehend what you mean at all. I have my Firefox browser set up to clear my cache and cookies every time I leave the internet. I login and out zillions time here every day.

That’s five notifications and counting. I think we’ve had this problem before where clearing the cache and cookies works maybe one in every five times, which is good……just this issue appears to be WP related.
