Why am I following myself on my WordPress blog?

    Hi there folks

I’m following my own blog, I presume that’s not right! I’ve completely messed it up I think …

    I’ve had problems setting up.

    1. I joined a few years ago and left but maybe I didn’t do that properly.
    2. I joined yesterday with a free blog and I used a new address but when I set up, the bill showed two blogs, one free one and one for $48. I removed the paid one from the bill and I really hope that’s an end to it …

BUT I am following my own blog and wonder what will happen if I remove myself from the follower’s list. Will I then lock myself out?

With thanks in anticipation of your advice.
    Kathryn

I’ve just realised that I’m using the $48 blog address instead of the free one by mistake. Is there any staff who can help please?

  • Hi there,

Most bloggers like to see how their sites appear in the WordPress.com Reader, so you are automatically subscribed to any new site you create in your account. If you don’t want to follow your own site, you can just unfollow it by clicking the button that appears bottom-right of the screen when you view your site.

I’m not sure what you mean by a “$48 blog address”. You have only one free site in your account at the free address, http://kathrynaldermanwriting.poetry.blog/, and you have never bought anything from us.

If you have a paid site, it belongs to a completely different account from the one you’re using to post here.
