why am i forced to pay for two domain names for one web site

I am paying for a .com (this is clearly listed). I removed the .me account and now I find out my web site has been down for 6 days!!!! No wonder that no one is calling or booking appointments. Why am I forced to have both the .com and .me. I have another company trying to make me pay for the .com name. They are called power your name. What is going on?

Canceling a domain at this time means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.

This is a tad bit complicated. Why can I not just pay the .com with your company? Why am I forced to pay one group and then pay you guys to host it?
If I am correct in your information, if I get rid of the .me then I lose my wordpress web site because the .com from one company is being funneled to wordpress through the .me name?

Because your domain is registered elsewhere and not through us you need to do both. We’re not able to accept incoming transfers of existing domain names. Therefore, it’s needed to renew registration at your registrar and pay the mapping to host it through us.

No, this is not correct. If you get rid of your .me domain, as long as your domain mapping and .com registration are renewed at all times, your site will be up.
Please note that the domain: sakuratouch.wordpress.com never deletes, which is actually a good thing so if you one day decide not to renew the domain or it expires accidentally all your content will still be available at sakuratouch.wordpress.com.
However, as long as you keep your domain(s) renewed, your readers will see your site at sakuratouch.com.
