Why am I getting a 500 Internal Service Error right after installing a new theme

I just purchased the theme Sixteen Plus and it won’t let me log into my site krofty.com when I attempt to log into krofty.com/wp-admin to make edits. I keep getting this error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
I’m not very good with anything web/website related so if you could explain the solution step by step in the simplest terms that would be incredibly helpful. I need this answered relatively quickly because I need to make edits before tomorrow. Thank you!

Which is not a WordPress.com blog but a WordPress.ORG blog, and you need to be over there for help with that version of the software.
