why am i getting "spammers" following me?

  I am suddenly getting a handful of new followers every day, but when I go check out their blogs, most are in Vietnamese or Indonesian. Is my blog being spammed, and is this a common occurrence?

  This is really boosting my number of followers, but the numbers don’t matter if these aren’t real followers.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, your blog is being spammed, and yes, it is common. If you believe they are spam followers, go to their blogs and report them as spam via the black Admin bar.

  Trying to report some of them, but I am not seeing the report option pop up. How do I get there? The one I am starting with is in Russia.

  One more question: is there a way to prevent this as well as report it?

  Trying to report some of them, but I am not seeing the report option pop up.

  The drop down off the top nav bar only works for blogs that are hosted on WordPress.COM – many spammers are not on WordPress.COM

  Currently you are stuck with the spam followers, on the plus side they just annoy you and can’t do anything to your blog
