Why am I having http error messages when I try to upload images?

  We are on a sailboat in the Bahamas. I am using my iphone’s data as a hotspot for any computer, online needs. When we were in Florida, I had no problem uploading pictures to my blog, but since arriving in the Bahamas and trying to upload, EVERY TIME I get an “http error” message. I have tried to google answers, youtube answers, and go to the WordPress support, but I STILL can not figure out the problem. I just want to upload images to my blog. That’s it. I am not concerned with stats or any of that other stuff – I only want to keep a blog of my family’s adventures which I have not been able to do lately due to this issue. PLEASE offer any help you can.

  Hey there!

  Sadly, this error pops up when you try to upload media and have slow connection issues. However, I don’t want you to be limited by your connectivity.

  I have a suggestion: have you ever tried post be email? You can post directly by sending your content to a unique email address. You could then log onto WordPress.com and make adjustments to your post once everything is uploaded.

  This might be a big help for you, especially between times you can get to land and find a strong wifi.
