Why am I having problems with the way WordPress is loading recently?

Recently (probably within the past week) I have encountered the problem of WP pages loading incredibly slowly, and usually incompletely (some media/images are missing). Several other bloggers have reported the same problems, and it is happening not only on all of my blogs, but when visiting others’ blogs as well. I have cleared my browser, and it didn’t make a difference. Any help you can provide in resolving this issue would be very much appreciated.

Could you try loading these sites and let me know which, if any, are running slowly?

Hi,
All of those sites are taking longer than they should to load, though not as long as actual blogs with more than a bare bones mock-up of content on the page. As I stated originally, it also isn’t just for me, I have discussed the situation with a few other WP bloggers and they are experiencing it, too.
I don’t think my router is at fault, as this is a problem specific to WP, all the rest of the internet loads as quickly as it ever has. So I suppose I will send an email (which I thought was done along with it being posted in the public forum, perhaps I am a bit confused on that one).
