Why am I mot getting email notification when I get a comment?

All of my settings are the same as they have always been but for the past 2 posts I have failed to receive my comment notification via email. This is causing a huge problem because the only way to access my comments is via my blog or my dashboard and I cannot access the email address attached to each comment so I cannot reply to the comment and answer my readers’ questions. Is anyone else experiencing this? How can I fix it? Thanks!

First go to settings > discussion and make sure you have it set to email you when a comment is posted.
Next check your email spam filter at your ISP to make sure the email is not getting caught. The email will be sent to the email address listed at settings > general in your dashboard.

yeah I have checked all of those things, I used to get email notification just fine up until Thursday. The comments are not in the spam folder and all the notification settings are the same. I am stumped!!
