Why am I no longer receiving email notifications of new followers?

As of September 28 I have not received any email notifications of new followers. (I’m still getting Comment and Reblog notifications). I looked at Settings and Follows has a check mark in its box. I did not change any settings between the time I was receiving the email notifications of new followers and when the email notifications stopped.
Also, I checked my spam/junk email folders and nothing there either.

Thanks for clearing stating the troubleshooting you did. Will you please do one more check? You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

After reading your reply, I am unclear about what I should be checking. I do have two email addresses. I was receiving so many notifications in my primary email that I directed them to a blog-dedicated email address. I was receiving all notification types I desired until a few days ago when only the new follower notifications stopped.
Must I use only one email address? I read the link you posted above and did not have any issues changing the one email address. I only have one blog on WordPress so there shouldn’t be any email address conflicts.

Notifications of new subscribers are sent to the email address set at Settings -> General in your blog’s Dashboard.

I have checked both email accounts’ inboxes and spam folders and cannot find even one new follower notification since 9/27. In the last 24 hours alone, 10 people have subscribed to my blog; all 10 are WordPress.com users.
I’m at a loss.

Ok, I do see those subscribed as WordPress.com users. Did you receive notifications for any of the WordPress.com user subscribers since then?

I have not received any notifications for new followers. The last notification I received was on Sept. 27.

Yes, I get all notifications, including new followers, at the above link and in the notifications drop-down box. Still no emails, though.

I don’t know what changed but, after receiving 4 out of 4 notifications so far today for new followers, I’m thinking the problem has been solved.

Help! macnmax, I’m experiencing the same thing! For the last few days I have not been notified of my wp followers. I receive all other notices (likes, comments, reblogs).

I haven’t changed a single thing in my settings related to my email. I have had 12 followers who I manually followed because I was surprised I had no activity messages (for anything) for 2 days.
