why am i not allowed to delete my old site or reset my password
-
I have the same email and the same phone number. I was laid off in July. I need a job. This is an old site: https://mariacanulblog.wordpress.com/
Why is security locking me out. Please delete it. Why is this so horrible? Why can’t anyone help? Any other site, I can just get a new password. I have the same email and cannot reset my password. I have no keys or invoices or codes. Please stop holding my income hostage by forcing me to have an old site instead of being able to find work.WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

The answer is very simple: you are logged in to the wrong account as that site is connected to the mariacanulblog account and you are logged in as mcanul8.
So log out from current mcanul8 and lig in again as mariacanulblog.
Et voila, problem solved.

Hi there!
As staartmees mentioned above, you need to be logged into the correct WordPress.com account to be able to delete the site. You can reset your password and log in, but you will need to enter the same email address used on the other account.
If you’re unable to find the email address used on the other account, please send an email to our account recovery team at passwordhelp@wordpress.com. They will help you via email.
Hope that helps!
