Why am I not automatically publishing to Facebook?

  My blog no longer automatically publishes to Facebook, even though it says it is connected. I have even tried disconnecting it so I can then reconnect it. The system tells me it has disconnected me in a message at the top of the screen, but the icon continues to indicate it is connected.

  Can you try all the steps from the Reconnecting Facebook section of the Publicize support page, which includes logging into your Facebook account?

  I cannot get past step 2 in the “Reconnect to Facebook” instructions. As I said the first time, I click “disconnect,” and I get a flash box message that says I’ve been disconnected. The Facebook box continues to say I’m connected, however, even after refreshing the page, logging out and back in, etc.

  Hm, try just moving on to step 3, which involves deleting the Facebook app.

  I believe I had success this time. After trying to disconnect several times over several days, the Facebook box finally said it was disconnected about two minutes after I posted my “I cannot get past step 2” gripe. We’ll see how it works the next time I post to Sermon Shorts. Thanks for your help.
