Why am I not getting an email acknowledging creation of a new blog?

  I tried to start a new blog today, entered all the information for a free blog, and clicked on the button at the bottom of the post. More than an hour has gone by, and I haven’t gotten an email acknowledging the creation of this new blog. Is there a problem with your server? Thanks.
