Not getting email notifications for new subscribers, even though the box is checked
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
Try the change here first > http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/

Do you have two different email addresses as I noted your could have above or have you used a single one for both Blog notifications and Personal notifications?

I am also experiencing an issue where I am not able to “like” on certain blog themes. I hit “like” and I get a flash of a blank box. I’m unsure if this is related.
But, yes, all the notification boxes are checked. I do not want — nor would I understand why — I would need to change my email address after 2 years of no issues.

Nothing in the spam. It was the second place I checked after I saw that I had another new subscriber. The first was to make sure the notification box was selected.

I did not suggest that you change your email address so let’s be clear about that by reading what I posted above please that. I asked if you had entered two or just one for both Blog notifications and Personal notifications.

I only have one email address that I requested to be notified. The public email has no notifications, either. And again, this is a very recent phenomenon. I haven’t experienced this issue until about a month ago.

Which themes are you referring to exactly? What are the theme names and what are the URLs please?

The public email has no notifications, either.

E-mail me whenever Anyone posts a comment
A comment is held for moderation
Someone likes one of my posts
Someone reblogs one of my posts

Hi msraytarot,
I’m unable to reproduce the “like” issue you’re experiencing. Can you verify that you are logged in to WordPress.com when you try to Like a page, and that you have cookies enabled?
Also, can you let me know the browser/version you’re using. It would help if you’d try a different browser to see if that fixes the issue for you or not.

Hi!
Yes, I am always logged on when I visit WP because I like to be able to respond and I use Chrome.
However, my 3rd party cookies were disabled. Although I’m incredibly nervous about it, I’ve just enabled them.
Let me try to “like” someone’s post and I’ll let you know how that works and get back to you.

PS – Although, I’m still not sure why I’m suddenly not getting notified when I have a new follower. Would these issues be related?
