Why am I not notified, even though box is checked?

  It worked! The “like” issue was due to the disabling of the 3rd party cookies. It is now resolved. Thank you!

  Would this attribute to the new subscriber notification change? I get notified on everything else and all my boxes are checked.

  Hi again,

  You need to have cookies enabled so that your browser maintains your login to WordPress.com as you navigate around to different pages on our site.

  I’m not sure if it would have any effect on your subscriber notifications other than that your changes to your preferences might not have “stuck” before. You might want to check your preferences for notifications again.

  Yes, thank you.

  And please believe me, I did in “general setting” and “account”. I feel every time someone tells me to “check it again” it insults my intelligence and is counter-productive. Though you may be used to contrary, please be assured I would not take the trouble to swamp Customer Service even further. Also, I believe I have repeated myself as I’ve said, “the box is checked.”

  This strange anomaly started about 3 weeks ago. I never had any problems before in the 2+ years I’ve had my blog.

  Looking at your account, everything looks to be in order. I’ve just followed your blog via WordPress.com, and I also tried following your account under your username (but deleted that). You should receive notifications for both; if you don’t receive them, please verify that they aren’t in your spam folder and let me know.

  Yes! I was very excited to see that I got those notifications in my inbox, thank you.

  Makes me wonder if changing my cookie setting didn’t affect that, as well…? Or you’re just simply amazing. I’ll accept that, too! :D
