Why am I not receiving confirmation email to delete my site?

I have tried several times to delete my site and have never received the email with the link I need to click to confirm deletion. I checked spam folders, and even changed my wordpress email address. I have done this process multiple times and have waited weeks to receive that email.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, I changed my email address associated with the site I’m trying to delete.
Still no email.

Post the original email address for it here please and the one you changed it to. The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting. -

Hi there,
You are not receiving the email when you request to delete the site because you are not the site owner. There are two administrators for this site, but only the person who set up the site is the owner. That person will need to log in and delete it, I’m afraid.
If that person no longer has access to their email, I can set the blog to private if you would like, which means no one would be able to access the blog or see it online; however the content would not be deleted.

Ok, that makes sense! The person who created it doesn’t have access to it anymore apparently.
The only reason this is a problem is because I created a whole new wordpress page with a purchased domain (www.wavehuggers.com), and I don’t want this old one coming up in search results at all.
If you could please make it completely private so nobody can see it at all, that would be perfect!

It looks like you already made the site private yourself! That is already sorted, and as you build up your new site, Google will begin to index content there. Since this is no longer providing content it will lose rank and eventually be dropped from Google entirely.
