Why am I not receiving the confirmation email to change my current email?

I made this blog with the email- (email visible only to moderators and staff) and I just changed my email to (email visible only to moderators and staff). I went into User settings and changed it and it said to check my email to confirm the change….I never received an email to confirm that I am changing my email address. Can you please help?
