Why am I not seeing any dashboard options?
-
When I log in as my user name ‘blissfulchic’ I get: Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested. However when I log in as my email address, i log in, verifies my user name as I mentioned previously, and I get now dashboard options. I just set up my blog blissfulchic.wordpress.com.
Here is my screenshot of when i can log in:

Are you logging in under the username account that registered the blog in question?
Are you the Admin of the blog in question?
Did you change your username?
Did you change your blog address? -

Yes to me being the Admin and to logging in under the username registered and no to any changes.

Hi blissfulchic,
Thanks for posting this, and I’m really sorry for the hassle. This is not a fun way to get started at WordPress.com, and I want to help you get up and running as soon as possible.
This looks like a unique occurrence where your username didn’t get added to the blog when you signed up, which is why you’re seeing the screen in your initial post.
I really want to manually add your username to the blog, but I’d like to double–check if there are clues as to why this happened (as it shouldn’t), and verify that things won’t break if I manually add your username to the blog.
We’ll be sure to post here once we hear back from our developers.
Thank you so much for your patience.

Hi blissfulchic,
We’ve fixed your blog, and you can navigate to your blog dashboard from my My Blogs tab on the WordPress.com home page, or the main menu (top right) in the admin bar.
Happy blogging!
