Why am I out of space? Can't upload anymore photos.

My blog site is not allowing me to post anymore photos due to size and storage. I did not realize there is a limit. If I had, I would have downsized immensely before importing them. I’ve used a lot of High Res photos. So, what are my options at this point? Is there a way for me to archive to free up more storage? Or must I pay for more storage? I guess if I delete photos from my media library, then they also disappear from the blog articled I posted them to, correct? I don’t want that to happen. I would truly appreciate receiving a human response so that I can better understand what I need to do, and not just a computer generated one. If not, I may have to move sites and I really don’t want to do that. Thank you!

    1) there is no point using High Res photos on the web, as the web renders them at 72dpi whatever resolution you’ve uploaded them at.

    2) storage here is 3GB per blog unless you buy a storage upgrade. If you continue to upload huge files, though, the upgrades won’t last you long.

    3) if you delete photos from the media library, yes, they disappear from the blog.

    Solutions:

    1) upload your photos to flickr and hotlink them. This is not as good for SEO though.
    2) register a new free blog and upload photos to that and hotlink them.
    3) go through and delete the high res photos from the media library and re-upload them in low resolution.
