Why am I receiving a billing from domain registration SEo Corp?

  I received a mail from Domain Registration SEO Corp. stating my domain leadership-ethics.com is to expire and I should pay $54 within a week. What have they got to do with WordPress? I paid WordPress $18 in September.

  This appears to be a phishing email. Please ignore it and note that domains purchased through us can only be renewed through us via your Store > My Upgrades page.

  Thank you for your reply. I must say this does not look like the normal crappy kind of phishing especially as they have my (previous) postal address correct. Shall I forward you the message somewhere?

  I’ve heard of phishing attempts from Domain Registration SEO before. Since you don’t have private registration on your domain you can get your address easily by doing a Whois search on your domain as seen here:

  https://who.wildwestdomains.com/whoisstd.aspx?domain=leadership-ethics.org&prog_id=wildwestdomains

  That is usually how these companies can get your information. If you want private registration so that it is not available to the public you can purchase it by going to Store > My Upgrades in your Dashboard.
