    I’m receiving emails that my host name doesn’t match my SSL. Here’s what they say: Site host name, https://rachelhisakowright.com, does not match your SSL certificate Subject Name

    We have noticed that the host name of your site, https://rachelhisakowright.com, does not match any of the “Subject Names” in your SSL certificate, which were:

    *.wordpress.com
    wordpress.com
    As a result, many web browsers will block users from accessing your site, or display a security warning message when your site is accessed.

    Recommended action
    To correct this problem, please get a new SSL certificate by a Certificate Authority (CA) with a “Subject Name” or “Subject Alternative DNS Names” that matches your host name.

    If you are trying to access a site on WordPress.com with a custom domain using the https:// version of the address, you will get an SSL warning (which will vary a bit between browsers). This is expected, because WordPress.com doesn’t support SSL for mapped domains. You do not need an SSL certificate, and nothing has changed since you initially added your domain to your WordPress.com site.
