Why am I receiving the expired certificate notification described below?
-
I noticed your notification of an expired certificate highlighter.fm on 8.22.14. Since August 2nd, which is the date of the expiration I am notifying you of that I am receiving, a message comes up immediately after my posts are published that “Safari can’t verify the identity of the website headliner.fm, yes, headliner.fm NOT highlighter.fm. When I click on continue on the certificate, my computer is redirected to copromote.com What is happening with my cindyeksuzian.wordpress.com blog site? Are my posts getting tweeted? Do I need to update the connection between wordpress.com and the twitter connection? Please advise. Thank you very much!

Here is a complete description of the topic above:
Safari can’t verify the identity of the website “headliner.fm”. The certificate for this website is invalid. You might be connecting to a website that is pretending to be “headliner.fm”, which could put your confidential information at risk.
Would you like to connect to the website anyway?(yes or no box) to comment “Always trust “headliner.fm” when connecting to “headliner.fm”

Hi Cindy,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We have recently been getting some reports about issues with the SSL having expired for our partners at CoPromote/Headliner.fm. To remedy this we have removed any links to their site until they are able to fix this issue. You shouldn’t be seeing this any longer.
Thanks again for getting in touch!

I appreciate your reply very much!
Does your remedy at this time affect the working link connection to Twitter for posts getting tweeted when they are published?
Thanks in advance for your response.
…and have a great day.

This should not disconnect any accounts which are currently connected to CoPromote. So any campaigns which you currently have going should continue. :)

Thank you very much for responding.
I am not sure that I understand your response.
As far as I knew by the wordpress dashboard in my blog account, I am currently connected to Twitter. Your connection selection provided here, has not been called copromote.
When my posts are published by WordPress, and my connection to the Twitter link through wordpress is activated, what is the path of my wordpress post? In other words, how does it reach the Twitter platform and post to my twitter account?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Cindy

I sincerely apologize for any confusion. I thought you were asking about any posts which were currently being promoted through CoPromote! Again, I’m sorry.
In regards to sites which are connected to the various social media outlets, they should be just fine and should continue to function normally. If you find that your publication to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc is interrupted, first you should try the steps which are outlined right here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-services
And if those don’t work, then by all means please get in touch with us. We’d be happy to take a look at it!
