Why am I still not getting emails regarding comments or pending comments?

I am still not getting emails with notifications of comments or pending comments. why?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Try going to your dashboard and click:
*Settings
*Discussion
*then look for “Email me whenever” and check the boxes that pertain to what you want.
Next, be patient until your settings take place. Good luck :)

Thanks for this. I did those things when my blog started on word press and I rechecked the settings which are still in place. I have been receiving emails for months and they just spontaneously stopped on both my blogs… my co-host on the other blog is still getting them though… I checked all my settings on both and my email addresses but still no luck.

Please read this first http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/#what-if-the-emails-are-not-getting-throughIf you use Gmail please check under your Gmail “social” tab.
Please check your settings here https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/ and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, just in case the Block Emails setting has been enabled.
If those do not rectify your issue:
Will you please provide the URLs of both blogs?
Are they both registered under the exact same username accounts?
If not please provide the username for the second blog as well as the URL.Then go to the sidebar tags in this thread and type modlook for Staff assistance. Subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

The other url is http://welltemperedbards.wordpress.com/ and the other user of this blog which is co-hosted is Lizzi Rogers. I have done all of those suggestions previous to my contacting you . I will go into the sidebar tags as suggested. Thanks for the help.

so, did what you suggested with side tag but dont know if I did it correctly…I just hit add and is there something to do after that to subscribe to the thread?

However, there is no username account for Lizzi-Rogers

Hi there,
I checked our records, and we’re still sending you those notification emails to the email address in your account settings:
https://wordpress.com/settings/account/
I know you mentioned doing this already, but please double check your junk/spam folder and social & promotions tabs in Gmail. You could also try checking the “All Mail” section or search your email using one of the keywords from a comment you received on your blog.
If you still don’t find those notification emails, you’ll need to get in touch with Gmail for more help. Our records show that the emails were successfully delivered there. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

I have checked and rechecked….getting in touch with Gmail is like getting in touch with God. I don’t suspect I’ll be talking to either one soon. I can’t imagine that after this many years with a gmail account and then I’m getting all of my other Gmail that that is the source of the problem. Sorry. Thanks for trying. I may just need to disconnect and try something else.

Unfortunately, there’s not much I can do from this end, since our records show that the emails are being delivered successfully to Gmail. You might want to try adding the email address comment-reply @ wordpress . com and donotreply @ wordpress . com (without spaces) to your email contact list, in case that helps those emails get through to your inbox.
Alternately, you could try changing your email address to another one you own in your account settings here: https://wordpress.com/settings/account/

In my last note I mentioned disconnecting and starting over. I have had this problem before and that’s what resolved it…(I had another wp blog at one time) I just started a different blog address and it corrected. This time I decided to try your last suggestion and change my email first which is a lot easier. Sooooo I went to change the address ( a good idea thank you btw) and checked my email and it had self corrected… maybe just all the screwing around and checking it did something? Maybe the blogging fates are smiling upon me today? who knows? dont care! thank you all for your help! L/Z

You’re welcome! I’m so glad it corrected itself. Maybe the little elves that deliver emails at Gmail were just being a bit naughty before. ;) If the problem comes back, please feel free to let me know and I’ll investigate it again.

be careful what you wish for in my world something works out and another gives! Now i am getting emails from followers asking why they dont get my email posts any longer! argh!

Can you give me the usernames or email addresses of some of those followers who aren’t getting email updates? I can then investigate that issue for you.

all I can figure is maybe its taking some time to catch up on something because some reported that they later got emails . So I am just going to wait another day or so and see what happens…patience is supposedly a virtue after all! :) I will get back to you… thanks so much for your continued help!
