Why am I still receiving email notifications of "likes" when I disabled them?

  Why am I still receiving emails every time someone “likes” a post that I’ve made, despite that I disabled that feature weeks ago? The box is unchecked when I go to settings for my Notifications. Is it a glitch? Is there somewhere else that I should be looking to shut this feature off? Thx!

  Hi Brooke!

  The feature that you’re trying to turn off is managed by a setting in the Settings > Discussion section of your dashboard. On that page, you will see several checkboxes for “Email me whenever”, including one for when “Someone likes one of my posts”.

  If you uncheck that, you will stop receiving these notifications.
