why am i unable to change my username?

  unable to change user name: I’ve tried to change my user name and I’m unable to. Also wanted to buy the redirect feature and was unable to for the same reason.

  Is it secure to change my username before buying the redirect feature? I don’t want to risk it. If not, how do I proceed?
