Why am I unable to edit pages in my blog ?

    I am unable to edit my pages. I get 503 error while trying to edit pages. This is happening with my blog for the last one month. My blog is atulsongaday.me

    Hi there,

    Could I get some additional information from you? When you say that this is happening when you edit your pages, are you trying to edit particular pages, or are you trying to create new blog posts? Or is this happening any time you try to log in to the Dashboard (ie: http://atulsongaday.wordpress.com/wp-admin)?

    Also, have you happened to try this on multiple browsers or only on one? If just the one, have you checked to make sure that it is the most up-to-date version of that browser? You can check the latest versions here:

    I have nine pages in my blog. I have no problem crating new blog posts. My problem is that I cannot edit any of my pages. When I click on any of these pages to edit them, I get the typical wordpress error message number 503, viz “Goshdarnit!

    Something has gone wrong with our servers. It’s probably Matt’s fault.

    We’ve just been notified of the problem.

    Hopefully this should be fixed ASAP, so kindly reload in a minute and things should be back to normal.”

    I have tried editing the pages on latest versions of multiple browsers (viz Chrome and Safari) and on multiple computers (three). I have also cleared all the cache in the browser, but to no avail.

    A few of my pages are quite large (nearly 80,000 words long), and I can understand if I face problem opening them, but even my smaller pages (just 2000 words long) are also not opening when I try to edit them.

    Today (18 june 2014), I was able to edit my pages again (after 26 may 2014). Personally I deleted a few pages (including a few draft pages) and then I found that I was able to edit my pages again.

    I do not know if my actions of deleted a few pages made it possible or perhaps some other action was taken on the matter.
