Why am I unable to import my blog?

Add topic to favorites
I am trying to import a blog from WordPress.org to WordPress.com. I had a chat with support on Friday and was told to update WordPress.org and try again. I did that and nothing happened with the import. Now I can no longer chat with support, so any ideas?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

How large is the file? If it’s very large Staff may have to have your email it to them so they can do the import for you.

Everything is going to the boss. When he forwards things to me the only email address I am seeing is the (email visible only to moderators and staff). Do I send it to that? I have changed the email address for the blog account, so everything should come to me now.

Thanks, that file is quite large. I’ve used a WXR splitter to cut it into smaller chunks, and I’m uploading those now.

Velda, I have a question about the header image. Currently the header links back to the main page of the blog. Is it possible to change the header image link to our homepage?

Hi @northstarflags, the header will always link back to the main page of the site — in this case, https://northstarflagsblog.wordpress.com/ .

You could use custom menus or a widget to send folks to the other site, though.
