Why am I unable to post from the dashboard or anywhere else?

  I am unable to post from my dashboard. In fact, it appears the dashboard is not loading as it should. On the lleft hand side there used to be a clickable tab for posting — that is no longer there. When I pull down the tab on the W on the upper left hand side of the screen and click on ‘post’ I just get a blank screen.
