Why are ads appearing in my blog?

I paid for the package that includes “No Ads”. Ads have begun to appear all over my blog. I’m not happy.

If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising. Look for the About These Ads link to confirm. http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/WordPress.com does not use text enhance or text link ads or pop-up ads or links in comments. If you are seeing those then that’s a browser-ad-on issue, or in some cases, it’s embedded into free games and/or toolbars downloaded from the internet. The ads appear at the top of my blog, down the side where all of my history information appears, and at the bottom of the blog after the last blog entry. This never happened before Wednesday, January 9th, and I have added nothing new to my browser recently. The ads even appear on my “stats” page. Take a look at my blog to see what I mean. I’ve been blogging for over a year, and this is the first time this has happened. I use no free games on the web.

Problem solved. A software file was slipped into my PC by a company called Browse2Save. I removed it, and the ads disappeared. Thank you.
