Why are ads on my blog when I paid to have no ads?
-
I recently saw my blog from a computer in an internet café, not on my home computer, and there was an ad banner right across the top. Not just an ad, but a BIG AD.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I do see that the No Ads upgrade is active on your blog unseenmoon.wordpress.com.
I suspect the ads are shown by the browser in the internet cafe, not WordPress.com. The browser could have the ads integrated on purpose, or it could be some sort of a malware on the public computer that displays unwanted ads. So it’s not something that we placed. I hope this clarifies the issue for you!

The public computer was in the lobby of a hotel, so I’m not sure about that explanation. The ad had nothing to do with the hotel. Malware? Perhaps.
But if you say it was not placed by WordPress, I believe you. Thanks.

You are welcome. If you ever see that ad (or another ad), could you please take a screenshot and upload it to your Media Library? That way, I can take another look and see if there are any clues.
