WordPress only shows ads on occasion to people not subscribed to wordpress.com. If you have ads showing up your browser may be infected. WordPress only shows discreet ads as per these guidelines.

If you think it’s my browser go ahead and look for yourself. I’ve tested 3 different spyware, malware and microsoft security essentials without showing a problem. My blog and others are experiencing the same problems. They are blank ads that invites you to get rid of it with a click.
Ads by priccechop (their spelling not mine.)on this very same issue. So please investigate the problem instead of trying to blame it on a virus first thing.
It’s not my browser that is experiencing “This” particular problem. They don’t need a snapshot. they need to touch a few keys and it will be staring them in the face.

I stand humbly before all of you. Thanks for straightening me out. I just wish I could figure how I picked this up. I’ve done 3 software pkgs, but none of them recognise it as a problem.

The browser is indeed experiencing this particular problem. Disable all browser add-ons and extensions, then re-enable them one by one until the ads show up. Then you know which one is the one you have to get rid of.

Just figured out where the problem came from.
Below and to the right of the youtube video there is a little x, gray in color and it is the culprit. Click one of the choices and go back to your blog and see if it’s interfering with your banner, then click that is never going to start again and it’s gone. That is an ugly problem.
